Architecture shaped by light and water Set on the exclusive Hibiscus Island in the heart of Biscayne Bay, this contemporary residence presents a bold yet serene architectural statement. Designed as a dialogue between material, light, and landscape, the home embraces its exceptional surroundings, framing the tropical foliage, expansive sky, and ever-shifting reflections of the bay.
Built on a 10,500 SFlot, the residence offers nearly 5,400 SFof interior living space across two levels, with five bedrooms, five full bathrooms, and one powder room. The architecture is defined by suspended volumes, refined cantilevers, and fluid lines that open fully to the outdoors. The mineral white facades contrast with natural wood cladding and dark window frames, creating an understated and timeless composition.
Arrival is marked by an Ipe wood bridge that crosses a reflecting pond, leading to a seamless, light filled interior. The central axis runs straight from the entry to the bay, connecting garden and water through a sequence of transparent and open spaces.
Floor to ceiling sliding glass doors dissolve boundaries between indoors and out, allowing the home to breathe with the landscape. The first floor hosts the primary living spaces, where the open-plan living room extends to the terrace and connects to the dining area and a sleek, custom kitchen. Materials have been selected for their warmth and elegance, including wide-plank oak flooring, bespoke wood paneling, and natural stone countertops, all in a soft and modern palette.
Upstairs, three principal bedrooms enjoy sweeping bay views. The primary suite is positioned at the water’s edge, with a private terrace that floats above the pool. It’s in-suite bathroom features a serene mix of veined marble, warm wood tones, and glass, punctuated by brushed brass details.
The rooftop level offers a private observation deck with breathtaking 360degree views of both Downtown Miami and Miami Beach. Conceived as a contemplative and open-air retreat, it captures the essence of waterfront living, light, breeze, and horizon.
Outdoors, two distinct pools complete the experience: an elegant infinity edge pool that extends the visual plane to the water beyond, and an 82-footlap pool, designed for long, uninterrupted swims. Together they frame a series of tiered terraces, lounging decks, and shaded seating areas nestled within lush tropical landscaping that ensure privacy and calm. This is a work of architectural clarity and craft. Every line, finish, and detail are conceived with precision, balancing aesthetic restraint with material richness. More than a residence, this Hibiscus Island home is a sensorial and spatial experience, an oasis in one of Miami Beach’s most coveted waterfront settings
