Purity, Light, and Horizon

The approach is theatrical and it is meant to be. A walkway across a shallow reflecting pool leads to the front door, and by the time you reach it, the register has been set: water, silence, scale. A double-height foyer opens above you, and the bay appears at the far end of the central axis, framed by glass.

The street facade is the most distinctive element. A curved wall of coral stone, rough and organic, wraps the entry and contrasts with the crisp white volumes and sharp cantilevers of the rest of the house. It is the one soft gesture in an otherwise precise composition, and it works because it is unexpected. Behind it, the plan is straightforward: open living, dining, and kitchen on the ground floor, three bedrooms and a master suite upstairs, all facing the bay.

The master bathroom is placed at the corner, with a freestanding tub beside a picture window. Palms move in the wind outside. It is one of those rooms where the architecture steps back and the view takes over.

The pool is the outdoor signature: 110 feet of infinity edge running along the side of the house like a canal. It is not a swimming pool in the conventional sense. It is a water element that extends the architecture into the garden, reflecting the facade and doubling the sky. Around it, shaded terraces and dense planting create a private outdoor life oriented entirely toward the water.

At 5,000 square feet, every decision counts. There is no room for the gratuitous gesture or the empty volume. The plan is precise, the proportions are resolved, and the result is a house where nothing competes and nothing is missing.
